WORKSHOPS
All of our leather courses are run by Sarah Williams, who has experience of working in the leather goods industry as a designer and sample maker and now runs small leather goods label Williams Handmade as well as teaching leather skills in Universities. All courses are suitable for beginners and designed so that you can take away your new skills and continue to make more leather goods at home. Sarah aims to make all courses both informative and enjoyable in a relaxed, friendly and productive atmosphere. Please note, children 11 years old and over can also book a place on our workshops with a paying adult.
If we don’t have a date to suit you please get in touch and we will try our best to accommodate.
"Just completed a weekend course with Sarah and three others. Great course, Sarah is an excellent teacher as well as being a great leather worker. On the first day we learnt a lot about leather and leather construction and some good basic skills to get us started. Then we all chose a bag style to suit ourselves and by the end of the weekend had a really practical and useful bag to take home with us together with enough skills to enable us to carry on our new hobby at home. Set in a beautiful part of the country and with a great complimentary lunch each day we were well looked after and I highly recommend this course."

"I had a wonderful time learning a new skill in the old school workshop, Sarah explained everything slowly and in an easy to understand manner which mean't that it was easy to retain.
The building was a beautiful old school with a modern clean airy feel and lots of space.
I would recommend the course and Sarah as a tutor to anyone wishing to pick a new skill in leather-work.
Also a big plus is, i came away with a nice hand made coin holder.
Thank you Sarah great course.."
