Description:
Why have a square bag, when it can be curved? Our Tan Honeycomb leather curve bag will elevate any outfit adding style, while still being a practical and purposeful.
The bag has a turn lock closure and there is an adjustable and detachable cross body strap so the bag can also be used as a clutch bag. It comes in a cotton dust bag. Free UK postage.

Please note this is a special trial workshop to test the timings (and get your feedback) on this new workshop. The normal price of this workshop will be £130 per person. For this first trial workshop the price will be reduced to £95 per person. The date of the workshop is Tuesday 28th July.
This workshop is suitable for beginners as it is a little simpler and less stitching, than our full day bag workshop, but it is also great fun for people with some experience, on this one day course you will all be making the simple cross body bag. There are a few different styles and sizes to choose from, please see images. You will get to choose your leather colour, buckles and locks, but there is no option to add pockets or do a different design, if you would like to make a more complicated bag please look at our one day group bag making workshop which has a few more different design to choose from.
The course will begin with students learning the basic leather skills (or refreshing your memory of them) by firstly learning and practicing how to hand stitch leather. You will learn marking out, choosing appropriate leather, hand saddle stitching and edge finishing.
There will be a maximum of 5 people on a workshop, so groups are kept small, with plenty of help available.
Course runs from 9.45am – 3.30pm (we may finish a little earlier or later). An individual packed lunch from our local tea rooms and tea and coffee included in the price. All leather and fittings are included in the price.

Cutting out leather
Hand Saddle Stitching
Constructing a bag
Cutting and making a strap
Riveting
Finish edges (burnishing)
Attaching a buckle
The Strap can be made detachable so you could also use your bag as a clutch bag too.

OUR WORKSHOPS
Our workshops are all carried out in our beautiful new studio nestled in the Herefordshire countryside. You will be provided with all of the tools and materials you will need to complete your course and under full supervision and guidance by Sarah. We will provide you with refreshments throughout the day.
