Kirsty Ward Collaboration 2014
Williams Handmade Collaborates with Kirsty Ward - 2015 sees the fourth consecutive collaboration between womenswear and jewellery designer Kirsty Ward and leather goods designer and maker Williams British Handmade.
Kirsty and Sarah first met when they both accessory finalists at ITS#9 the international Talents Support competition in Trieste, Italy. Since this they have both gone on to set up their own labels, both being chosen to be parts of Selfridges Bright Young Things project, at different times.
"when the opportunity came up to collaborate with Sarah I was super excited. We first met at ITS#9 where we were both finalists in the accessories category but I’ve been a big fan of her work for years now – plus I think our aesthetics work really well together.” Kirsty Ward
This season the collaboration consists of belts and small and large square and long clutches and satchels all in Black, White and bright yellow. All the pieces remain true to Williams British Handmade dedication to the traditional handmade, while being injected with some fun and glamour from Kirstys embellishments.
